Challenge 

Create a two sided poster that shows off the use of one randomly assigned type family. One side of the poster must show off the visual aspects of the type family the other must be informative in telling what the type family is, who designed it, and the date it was designed.

Solution

For my poster, I was assigned the font Trade Gothic. When looking at this font family, I decided to tap into the look of newspapers. I created patterns with the type face printed them and tore them up to create a pasted-over look for my poster. I then rescanned in my work to add other elements.
