Challenge

Create a Vinyl for an artist you are familiar with by selecting at least 12 songs or pieces from their entire catalog to create a "best of" concept album. Along with designing the album jacket and liner notes, an additional physical component needs to be produced.

Solution

For this project, I created a vinyl for The Happy Fits who are an Indie rock band. The vinyl’s design reflects the fruit theming found throughout each of the band’s albums’ artworks. This conceptual vinyl was given the name Fruit Punch to reference the punchiness of the songs chosen to go on it. Its name also mimics the wordplay the band has used for past album titles, such as Awfully Apeelin ’, featuring a banana on its cover. This vinyl also includes coasters to place your refreshing fruit punch on as you listen to this vinyl.
